Rorishgard Upon His ‘Divine Steed’ The Direwolf Hellmaw

Leader of a splinter sect of Bane-worshipping goblinoids, Rorishgard was once a humble and neutral Hobgoblin living in the lands of the Summer Court in the Feywild. However, he was forced into combat when raiding parties sent by the Winter Queen slaughtered his village, family, and thane. Empowered by his charisma and hunger for blood, Rorishgard became a paladin of vengeance, swearing to rend apart everyone in the Winter Court, massacring the innocent and warriors alike. For two decades, he rampaged through the lowlands, killing in Tatiana's name and gathering a warband of like-minded fey folk who saw war as the only answer to the aggressions of the Winter Queen and her armies. Yet, upon discovery of his brutal tactics, his Queen and Goddess Tatiana cast Rorishgard from her lands as he stood in the way of peace among the fey folk. Rorishgard did not take his exile as an act of penance, as Tatiana had hoped, and he instead vowed to destroy the entire system of the fey courts, leading to a rebellion against both gods, swearing himself to the dark god Bane and starting a reign of terror in the Feywild which continues to this day.
