Eurydice, The Druid Menagerie
Eurydice was born to perform, but unlike the bards who made up most of her family, she always had an innate connection to the forces of nature and creatures she met by living a nomadic lifestyle rather than one with the arcane song of creation. While her dancing bear is always a show stopper, the iron-skinned elk, icy hound, and tentacled horror octopus shapes were her true favorites, each bringing a different vibe and feel to accompany the music of her brother and mother.
For two decades, she lived the life of a traveling performer until the day that Nemesis visited their camp.
Eurydice's parents, despite their talents, always struggled financially, and the primary reason for their wandering was to escape the law after fleecing their audience for every gold piece in their pockets. Yet, when her father successfully picked a magical locket from the neck of a powerful noble, a ritual was conducted, a pact made, and the assassin of vengeance was summoned to hunt them down. In a night of horror, Eurydice saw her family put to the sword and, as eternal punishment, raised to join the undead ranks of Nemesis' army of vengeance.
There, the cycle of vengeance repeated. Eurydice, who escaped by hiding her form as a rabbit, swore revenge on Nemesis, not knowing who it was that had summoned the shade. However, left destitute and without the power to confront it, she needed to find allies. With that motivation, she would continue to perform, saving every coin she could to hire mercenaries, until she met Orpheus, a free lance with a chip on his shoulder and a goal to free the undead army from under the rule of Nemesis.
